I understand this process. When I create poetry, the last word lingers on the page. It's a shift from being in the elevated state of creating to coming back to the human state of consciousness and that transition can sometimes be be a wee bit painful. We make the adjustment and it's all worthwhile.

Will J Thompson Jr Yes, I have the same feeling, from many different forms of artwork I have created. Loving the creation process while it is happening & after it's done always thinking you can do more, but realizing in order for it to actually be done, you have to stop and let it have a life of its own. I did this years ago, I think it's my best artwork from when I was younger. I wonder honestly what do people feel and see when you see it, I call it "Always Digital" I call myself MainFraiM now, if anyone wants to know me, I don't draw or paint much anymore.. I am surprised your first brush 🖌️ stroke the beginning of your masterpiece has created so much comments and made me feel like sharing a old masterpiece of my own, it is done on a canvas I made myself and 🎨 painted with oil & airbrushed. When it was done I was surprised but now, years later I understand why it was done, because it's for viewing now, I look at it from time to time and I think it is good, complete but continues to tell a story that is neverending. Londo Malari when i saw your painting of Jesus when it came out years ago.... you def got his eyes right! when i saw his eyes, they were aquamarine. i always wondered why, as a small child, that was my favorite crayon color, i found out when i met him as a teen and again in my 40's. Matthew Kemara Yes, a song I developed from humming and putting words to, so it was developed within, a song about the eternal now. When I read your story and came across the painting footsteps of eternity, I found exactly what this song was developing to be as it had a profound understanding of just "knowing" from birth. The future self has completed the journey, lived by faith, guided by the author and finisher of our faith, therefore the was now and future self is present. It reveals the servant heart to help navigate the now.

Patricia Silva Dos Santos I had my son watch the documentary about your life story; it serves as an inspiration for how a natural gift can completely transform a person’s life. My entire family was born with a talent for drawing. Even at a very young age, I was creating drawings that were incredible for my years—especially considering I had never taken any art lessons. It’s a pity I never had the chance to take art classes using paints and brushes. My country is very poor and doesn’t provide any encouragement for this type of art. I hope my children find inspiration in you and go on to develop their own skills.
Thor Jordan You have quite the ability, so to guess on something you do would be really hard to know when it is finished. You have an extreme amount of detail & time invested.
I like projects to be finished & later can see how they could have been different. I build things out of used iron sometimes & paint makes it look at lot better even though it is not art. I always thought it would fun to paint as in art like you do.

I painted This Is My Life when I was 11 years old, inspired by the time I spent around ballet dancers and witnessing the extraordinary dedication behind their art. Coming from a completely different world of art, I was deeply moved by the hours of discipline, passion, and sacrifice that happen long before anyone steps onto a stage. In the painting, the two ribbons symbolize passion and dedication, both must be tied securely for her to dance her best.
