In my studio, time seems to stop ⏳️ I enter a timeless world. It’s a place where my prayers and intentions become part of everything I create.
Once I begin painting, one decision leads to another
a color, a line, a small adjustment and then suddenly...
the day has ended!
I can get lost here for hours and still never feel lost at all ✨️
Where do you lose all sense of time?

Laila Bjerkeli Roknian I can relate. I get lost in my pyrography. No colors of course but..... I leave pieces of myself behind in each project.... this was my latest one, it was emotionally exhausting 🙂 But I lousy myself in Jesus for many hours here. (And don't get me started on when it was time to rub him down with oil ...... )
Harold Taylor I read a little poetry
And I’m in water to my knee.
The moments flee,
As I read more;
I find myself
Far from the shore.
Soon out to Ocean,
Happy me!
Lost in a sea of Poetry.
No SOS or flag I’ll hoist,
Please, let me live where life is Moist.
Beverly George I understand, Akiane. My "lost in time" moments are when I'm engrossed in research or writing. My goal is to write a book on immortality before my time is up. That project will take much time and love. I also get absorbed looking at photos from the past.
Ngozi Okwuosa I have the same experince when i paint or create a cake or craft. I started painting 5 years ago and i am offcourse by far not at your Level still i can relate to the time les place of flow.

Fernando Roman Chigne I congratulate you on your amazing artistic gift. It would be a dream come true if you could capture a landscape of Peru in a painting. Please consider coming to visit us and showing us your beautiful work; I would love to see your art in person. Do you currently have an exhibition in New York—since I’ll be there in October—or is it only in Texas?
Kathy Koerber Smits I get lost and found while walking in nature, photographing God's beautiful creation!
Lisa Courts Same here! Art is my meditation time with God. ❤️ He blessed me with a prophetic drawing during my first pregnancy. I drew all of my children in one drawing— I had drawn two babies, each in a blossom coming from the same stem. Then found out afterward that I was pregnant with identical twin girls! 🥹😍
I had also drawn another baby in a separate blossom and stem, in cooler colors—and five years later, I had my baby boy. 💙
I’m so glad you have that beautiful place where you can lose yourself in creating and feel completely at home there; what a gift. 💗
Joe Matich I have the same thing about losing time in studio sessions
Oksana Shevchenko Such a lovely comments…it’s wonderful to hear that so many people are gifted by Creator…in so many ways! 💞
When I paint my abstract paintings, I find myself so far away, it feels like existing in another dimension…and time becomes irrelevant 🙏❤️😇
Michele Castellanos When I am sitting here, in my living room, reading and memorizing the Word of God
Abraham Garduno-Gonzalez I guess when I'm studying. When, I'm really focused on a material. Sometimes, I wished I could go back and spend time reading more of the material.
Maria Holzmann Nah, when i paint the time is gone too fast.. 😅 😂
Janet C Hunter At least yours is clean and tidy. Mine stays upside down. I don't even notice until my back starts aching 12 hours after I entered
Jenny Seiber Your paintings are so lifelike that they actually draw you in to them, I would love one day to be able to get one of your paintings. God has blessed you beyond measure, and I just love your story and how God has transformed your life. He has given you such an interesting and beautiful gift, and taught you everything that you need to help you grow and become the beautiful and special woman you have become. I love seeing any of your work, I know it is blessed from God himself!

Charles Mwawana Prayer has been a gps whenever i need navigation to move forword or whenever i feel lost. Am telling av always found away out... That is Jesus..leading since i got the secret.
Maria Holzmann You painted a lot of these with poetry? I love writing poems.
Patricia Greenbaum When I go through periods without prayer, I focus more on the negativity of life and get discouraged/anxious. I focus more on darkness. When I call out to God and also ask the Blessed Mother to intercede for me, I start feeling a glimmer of hope. I must pray every day then the burdens lift and my spirit is at peace and know that God is ultimately in charge.
Antonio Cano La oración es la conversación que tenemos con el padre eterno que nos da paz y fuerza para seguir adelante 🙏
Belóved Gallery Beautiful 🤍
Jennifer Arnold That looks like gold leaf?! I'm also trying to use gold leaf for a current painting. Prayer I always try to use for direction when painting, eating, everything really , it seems constant. And one of the best prayers I enjoy is seeing the latest developments in movement in the sky, sunsets, clouds etc. And I'll genuinely be surprised by His expression of beauty and say out loud and compliment His work like I'm having a real conversation with someone who hears me "good job God!"" or something simple like that.
Ross Kunkler A ‘prayer’ (oratio) means a “petition” (petitio), for to pray (orare) is to beseech (petere), just as to ‘pray successfully’ (exorare) is to obtain (impetrare). Moreover, prayer has a proper place, and time. Place, because not everywhere, since we are prohibited by Christ from prayer in public, except where opportunity grants it or necessity requires it. The Apostles Paul, and Silas are not believed to have prayed against Jesus’ command when they prayed, and sang to God in prison in the hearing of their guards (Acts 16:25-40 NIV) (Hitchcock, R. Ranee Anderson Beautiful painting! Prayer to me is liken, to a piece of gold that lights up through his firtue in the presence of his spirit that pours out his love in the midst of my tears. Liken to the rays of the sun that shinneth from the heavens into the darkness, Liken a breath of wind in the Autumn breeze. Prayer is a release from my burdens as tho, a bottle of oil being emptied out and completely refilled with the new, refreshed like flowers after the rain, strengthen to face each new day. 🙏🏼
Will Trant Wow, this is Amazing!! Prayer is open direct communication with God and strengthens our relationship with God. It can and does help guide us through life's decisions. Prayer helps us become more compassionate and positive instead of being discouraged by the trials that we face.
Patti Sayers For me, prayer is my life’s breath. I can’t live without connection to God.
Francisco Peñalver Starting to pray was like finding a telephone line to God. It's like calling home after a long time of feeling orphaned, disconnected, lost, hopeless, and saying,
"Father, I'm back."
Now I know that He was always waiting for my call, watching over me from a distance.
Micael Turberg When we see that God intervene for others through prayer in Jesus name, we can love on another level 🏗
Mai-Lill Ihlar For me, prayer sometimes is talking to my dearest and best friend, sometimes to worship the most high, and sometimes to use the authority he has given us, to change circumstanses and bring help and love to others. I love Him❣️
Leilani Sima WOW. I'm speechless. Prayer is definitely the gateway to the peace that passes all understanding.
Karen Scudder Owens Early morning prayer shapes your mind and day into a more focused day allowing God to lead your steps.

“I’ve known about Akiane since I was a teenager when she appeared on Oprah. I deeply respect and love her art subjects, her extraordinary talent, and how she connects with the unseen and spiritual side of life. When I purchased art through her family’s business, everything was handled beautifully — from packing and shipping to communication.”
